Our daughter is going on her 5th year with Spotlight Dance Studio after starting in ballet/tap at the age of 3. She now participates in jazz and hip-hop classes as well as future goals of being on the Spotlight Dance Company team. We've watcher her grow not only as a talented dancer, but as a young lady who holds the values of teamwork, determination, self-confidence and integrity close to her heart. With every year that passes, we are humbled by the dedication and love that the teachers put into each of their classes. My Dad & I went to Spotlight Dance to choreograph the father/daughter dance for my wedding. Heather was amazing to work with! we wanted the first half of our dance to be a traditional slow song, and then surprise switch to a fast paced pop song. Heather created a dance routine that was exactly what we were envisioning, and she was so much fun to work with. She also was able to have someone edit/mash up our songs for us. Our 4 going on 5 year old daughter decided she wanted to do dance this past year, and I excitedly signed her up. She "really wanted to perform on stage" and learn how to do ballet. All the teachers at Spotlight Dance made our daughter feel like she was welcomed from day 1. She was always showing me the new moves she learned and created a countdown to the dance recital day and loved watching the older girls perform even more. Can't wait to sign up for more classes! My daughters had another awesome year dancing with Spotlight Dance Studio. My 3 year old felt so welcomed by the older students and Miss Heather making it an easy transition to her first class. The teachers are incredibly patient and are always excited to see all the dancers. Thursdays easily became our favorite night of the week. The recital was so fun this year and my toddler especially couldn't stop dancing to all the music. We look forward to starting again this fall
